Ecofiniti supported the design and development of Albo's unique SaaS platform that enabled businesses and organisations to verify and evidence deforestation-free products across complex supply chains. Drawing on our experience in corporate reporting and compliance requirements for agricultural and commodity-linked businesses, we helped translate the technological capabilities of remote deforestation sensing into a client facing platform for regulatory and market requirements. Our approach combined supply-chain mapping, geospatial and data-driven verification, and clear reporting outputs to support compliance, transparency, and credible claims under emerging deforestation and due-diligence regulations within the EU, UK and other jurisdictions.
Objective
To support product development and commercial readiness, Albo Climate set out to:

Solutions
Our team worked in close partnership with Albo Climate to accelerate the development of its proprietary SAAS platform for deforestation-free supply chains:

Defined the technical architecture for scalable monitoring of carbon stocks, deforestation, and biodiversity across diverse ecosystems.

Built a rapid analysis engine that allows users to draw or upload coordinates and receive EUDR compliance results in under 60 seconds.

Integrated encrypted, QR-code traceability to enable secure, end-to-end visibility from producer to product.

Implemented anomaly detection and due diligence tools, including alerts for commodity laundering (e.g. grain, beef), land rights risks, and non-compliance.

Prepared technical assets and live demos to support fundraising efforts, pilot client onboarding, and regulatory engagement.
