IBC Simply, a major player in the food service market, took its first meaningful step into sustainability by partnering with Ecofiniti to assess its ESG maturity and future-proof its operations.
The aim was clear: to transform sustainability from a peripheral topic into a strategic business priority. Through a dynamic ESG culture change workshop and comprehensive gap analysis, we helped the company understand its current position, identify key risks and opportunities, build internal momentum, engage teams across the business, align with client and regulatory expectations, and develop a structured, actionable roadmap.
Ecofiniti facilitated stakeholder ESG workshops, combining education, visioning, and practical planning. The interactive sessions helped align internal priorities, spark employee-led initiatives, and translate sustainability concepts into actionable commitments. These ESG workshops alone generated over 100 ideas from employees across departments, embedding ownership and accountability into IBC Simply’s sustainability journey.
In parallel, Ecofiniti conducted a detailed ESG Gap Analysis and competitor benchmarking, resulting in a structured roadmap for improvement. Ecofiniti also mapped client expectations to ensure IBC Simply met supply chain requirements and avoided future compliance risks.
Our team then combined the workshop outcomes with the Gap Analysis findings and delivered a practical three-year roadmap, identifying “low-hanging fruit” actions and long term aspirations. It also supported the establishment of a formal governance, the ESG Committee, which is now meeting regularly to implement the roadmap.
With Ecofiniti’s guidance, IBC Simply turned sustainability from an abstract goal into a concrete, company-wide initiative. From launching its ESG Committee to preparing its first ESG report, the company is now on a clear path to embed sustainability at the heart of its operations and commercial strategy, and is poised to grow as a responsible, future-ready business.
