Charles Taylor’s sustainability reporting has been recognised by The SHE Show. Explore the data, collaboration and climate work behind its reporting.

Charles Taylor’s work on sustainability reporting has received external recognition, with the business shortlisted for the Inspiring Change Awards 2026, run by The SHE Show (Safety, Health and Environment).

As part of its awards coverage, The SHE Show has published a feature exploring how Charles Taylor developed a more consistent approach to sustainability reporting across its global business. Ecofiniti is mentioned as the consultant supporting that work.

The feature highlights something that sits at the heart of our work with Charles Taylor: sustainability reporting involves much more than producing a final document. It depends on reliable data, internal collaboration and systems that can develop as reporting requirements change.

We are proud to see Charles Taylor’s sustainability work recognised externally and to have supported the business across several areas of its sustainability journey, from carbon footprinting and ESG reporting to Science-Based Targets and climate risk analysis.

Building the data behind the reporting

One of the areas where we work closely with Charles Taylor is its global carbon footprint.

Each year, Ecofiniti supports the calculation of the company’s footprint, including its Scope 3 emissions. That means working with a wide range of data sources and stakeholders across the business.

Our role has included collecting and calculating data, reviewing and validating data inputs as well as calculated outputs, explaining the reporting process to key stakeholders and managing the work from beginning to end.

This work extends beyond Charles Taylor’s sustainability team. We have worked across departments to help stakeholders understand the different Scope 3 categories and the information required for reporting.

Supporting climate-related reporting year after year

Our work with Charles Taylor also includes its wider climate-related reporting.

Ecofiniti has supported the business year after year in developing reporting in line with SECR and TCFD recommendations.

This has involved working directly with internal stakeholders, reviewing supporting documentation and bringing information from across the organisation together into a clear disclosure.

More recently, we have also helped Charles Taylor prepare for alignment with the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards, mapping ISSB requirements against its existing TCFD report, policies, procedures and risk register.

The work covered governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets, helping identify what could be retained, where further evidence was needed and where new disclosures would need to be developed.

From carbon data to Science-Based Targets

The relationship has also included Charles Taylor’s Science-Based Targets.

Ecofiniti worked with Charles Taylor through the SBTi validation process from end to end and supported the development of its targets and reduction pathways.

Charles Taylor’s interim targets for 2034 include a 63% reduction in Scope 1 emissions, a 97.7% reduction in Scope 2 emissions and a 58.8% reduction in Scope 3 emissions.

The work also included a full-year footprint calculation and planning around emissions reduction opportunities.

Understanding climate risk across a global business

Another part of our work together has focused on climate risk and scenario analysis.

Rather than running one generic session across the whole organisation, Ecofiniti worked directly with Charles Taylor’s sustainability manager to divide the business by regions and business units and run separate scenario workshops.

Relevant stakeholders assessed risks and opportunities within those workshops, including potential impact levels and financial implications.

The outputs fed into Charles Taylor’s climate risk assessment and risk register and supported its climate-related reporting.

Ecofiniti has also carried out site-level climate risk assessments for Charles Taylor, including work in 2024 and 2026, assessing physical risks office by office rather than assuming that every location within the same country faces the same exposure.

Recognition for the work behind sustainability reporting

The work highlighted by The SHE Show reflects the combination of data, internal engagement and evolving reporting processes that sit behind Charles Taylor’s sustainability programme.

We are pleased to see that work recognised through Charles Taylor’s shortlist for The SHE Show Inspiring Change Awards 2026, and to see Ecofiniti’s support acknowledged as part of the story.
